This Privacy Policy explains how Shree Group Umreth Trust ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit shreegroupumreth.com or register for an event through it ("Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. Unless defined otherwise here, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meaning as in our Terms & Conditions, which together with this Policy form your agreement with us.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on the pass category you register for, we collect:

• Name, phone number, and email address
• Age, gender, and city (for identity-verified pass categories)
• Emergency contact number (optional)
• Aadhaar number, a photo of your Aadhaar card, and a profile picture — collected only for pass categories that require identity verification, used to confirm your identity and to prevent the same person registering more than once for the same event
• Payment details are handled directly by our payment partner, Razorpay — we do not store your card, UPI, or bank details ourselves

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create your registration and generate your QR entry pass
• To verify your identity at entry and match you to your registration
• To prevent duplicate registrations under the same identity
• For internal record-keeping and security purposes
• To contact you about your registration or the event, if needed
• To meet legal, safety, or venue requirements for the event

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. How Your Information Is Stored & Protected

Your registration details are stored on our database provider's infrastructure. Aadhaar card photos and profile pictures are stored separately, on cloud object storage, and are never made public — access to Aadhaar numbers and Aadhaar card photos is restricted to authorized event administrators only, for identity verification and entry-management purposes. Gate/check-in staff can access only what's needed to check you in (your name, pass details, and profile picture) — never your Aadhaar number or Aadhaar card photo.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no online system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

4. Who We Share Information With

We will not sell, distribute, or lease your personal information to third parties unless required by law. We do share information with service providers who help us run this platform — payment processing (Razorpay), cloud database and file storage, and, where used, email/messaging providers for booking confirmations. These providers only receive what they need to perform their function and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

As a payment merchant, we are not liable for a transaction declined because a cardholder exceeded a limit agreed between their bank and our payment processor — that authorization decision is made by the banks/payment network involved, not by us.

5. Marketing & Foundation Updates

By submitting your details, you agree we may also use your email/phone to send updates about ShreeGroupUmreth Trust's foundation work — announcements, future event/ticket links, and similar updates — in addition to essential communications about your own booking. You can opt out of these non-essential communications at any time by emailing help.shreegroupumreth@gmail.com.

ShreeGroupUmreth's events are run with the purpose of supporting the livelihood development of women, artisans, and craftsmen — proceeds go toward that foundation work.

6. Cookies

This site uses only the cookies necessary for it to function (e.g. keeping event staff signed in to the admin console). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Data Retention

We retain your registration information for as long as necessary for the event, and afterward for reasonable administrative, safety, and legal purposes. You may request deletion of your information at any time (see Section 9) — we will honor such requests except where we're required to keep information for legal or accounting reasons.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us (Section 9). If any information we hold about you is incorrect or incomplete, let us know and we will promptly correct it. We will respond within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
